Meet Marni Yoga Founder

My name is Marni Goldner and I am the founder of Marni Yoga.

It is my vision to share the healing, transformative and uplighting practice of Yoga and Meditation to help people experience peace and connection. Our classes are offered daily, via zoom or in person.  Private sessions are also available by appointment.

My practice is designed to provide students with a way to manage the stress and anxiety of every day life as well as relief and solutions to people who may be struggling with addiction, trauma or other emotional difficulties.

Our classes are intended to bring a sense of harmony to practitioners and kindness to the world around us.

During this time of great global transition, we are challenged with increased environmental and emotional stressors. If someone told me I would be wearing a mask in public and working, communicating and connecting with people through an online meeting platform I would not believe it.  While there are many losses associated with this pandemic, there are also many rainbow laced silver linings.

Teaching online yoga was not something I considered prior to the pandemic; and now it has become a successful/amazing vehicle for me to share the benefits of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation with a broad audience.  Using an online platform allows me to practice with students near and far on a daily basis.

As a person in recovery, my classes focus on finding ways to relax the body and release the effects of trauma, stress and addiction.  Each class includes a period of meditation as well as periods of shavasana, or meditative relaxation.

Kundalini Yoga and Meditation is called the yoga of awareness.  It awakens us to our divine connection, our realization that we are infinite beings having a physical experience.  Through Kriya’s (yoga sets), Pranayama (breath exercises) and Meditation we activate the glandular and energetic system (chakras) of the body creating experiences of bliss, connection, alignment and inspiration.  When this state is achieved, we experience relief from emotional, physical and spiritual pain which can loosen the bondage from addictive behaviors.  We are given a toolkit that can be used anytime and anywhere to help us handle the challenges of life gracefully and skillfully.

Marni has her BA in Psychology and a Masters in Business Administration.  She is a RYT (registered yoga teacher) in Hot Yoga, a KRI (Kundalini Research Institute) certified Kundalini Yoga and Meditation teacher, and a certified Yoga Nidra instructor.
